Because it turns a complicated trip into a simple one. We plan the entire week through a single point of contact, the instructor, the chalet, the transfers and the experiences, so the planning, the booking and the timing all run through people who know these mountains. The advice you get is grounded in experience, not pulled from a brochure.

Most concierges plan your trip and then leave you to enjoy it alone. We stay with you. Someone from our team is on the mountain with you throughout the week, in person, so plans can shift with the weather or your mood, and there's always someone close who knows the area well.

For as much of the week as you'd like. White Dunes isn't built around two-hour lessons. We place an instructor or a member of our team with you across the trip, so the skiing and the days are guided by someone who's genuinely there. You're not booking slots, you have a person for the week.

Yes, and it's one of the things we do best. We bring in instructors who are wonderful with children, set the day to their age and level, and can take the family across different slopes at once, the children on one and the adults on another, all coordinated. The family part should be the easy part.

French and English as standard, and more on request. Tell us the language you'd prefer to ski in, and we'll match you with the right instructor wherever we can.

We're based in Chamonix and work across the great stations of the French Alps: Megève, Courchevel and Méribel in the Trois Vallées, and Val d'Isère in the Tarentaise. Those are the stations we work in most, though our network reaches well beyond them, so if your trip calls for somewhere else, we'll arrange it. We know the right people far past the well-known names.

Because the entire day is built around you. A private instructor reads your level in the first few runs, takes you where the skiing suits you, and never leaves you waiting for a group. It's the difference between getting around a resort and truly knowing it.

Every one of them is fully state-certified, and that's only the starting point. We choose the people we work with for their feel for the mountain and their judgement on the snow, not for the qualification alone.

It's a long off-piste descent on the glacier from the top of the Aiguille du Midi above Chamonix, around 20km, and any confident intermediate can do it with a guide. It isn't a marked piste and it crosses glaciated terrain, so a qualified mountain guide isn't optional, it's essential. We arrange the guide, the timing and the equipment, and all you bring is the skiing.

Both sit in the Trois Vallées, the largest linked ski area in the world, and we know them equally well. Courchevel is the more polished and prestigious of the two; Méribel sits at the heart of the area, with a classic chalet-village character. Tell us about your group and we'll point you to the right one, or split the week between both.

The season runs from December to late April, and the ideal window depends on what you're after. December and January are the quietest, with the lightest snow. February and the Carnaval weeks are the liveliest, and best for families. March and April bring the longest, sunniest days. Tell us your dates, and we'll be honest about what to expect.

Every trip is built around you, so there's no fixed rate to publish. Once we understand the resort, the dates, the group and what you'd like to do, we'll prepare a proposal made for that trip. That way the proposal reflects your trip exactly, and you only pay for the week you actually want.
