White Dunes started long before the chalets, the transfers, or the finished itineraries. It began on the snow, with an instructor, a guest, and teaching shaped by twenty winters in these mountains. No fixed programme, no rigid structure, just patient, attentive guidance built entirely around the person on the slope.
That approach never changed. Today, your instructor reads your level within the first few turns and builds the rest around you, whether you're easing back into skiing on a gentle piste or chasing a clean, confident line through fresh powder.
Every level, and every age
Complete beginners who have never put on skis. Intermediates ready to move past a plateau. Strong skiers looking for off-piste and steeper, more technical terrain. Children and adults, taught together or separately, whichever suits the group. Your instructor sets the pace of the day to you, not the other way around.
How it fits into your trip
An instructor is rarely the whole trip. It's the part of the morning that sets up the day and makes everything that follows easier. Wherever you're skiing, from Chamonix to Megève and south into the Tarentaise, we arrange it alongside the chalet, the meals and the transfers, all in a single conversation. You ski, and we take care of the rest.

Do you provide private ski instructors in Chamonix, Megève and Courchevel?
Yes. We arrange certified private instructors across the stations we know best, from Chamonix and Megève to Courchevel, Méribel and Val d'Isère, matched to your level and to what you want from the week. We're glad to cover other stations whenever a trip calls for it.
Do you provide instructors across the Trois Vallées?
Yes. Courchevel and Méribel both sit in the Trois Vallées, the largest linked ski area in the world, and they're among the stations we know best. We'll place a certified instructor with you across the whole area, suited to your level and to where you want to ski.
What level do your instructors teach?
Every level, from complete beginners to strong skiers heading off-piste and onto technical terrain. Your instructor tailors the entire day to you.
Can you teach children, and ski with them?
Yes, and it's one of the things we do best. We bring in instructors who are wonderful with children, set the day to their age and level, and can take the family across different slopes at once, the children on one and the adults on another, all coordinated. The family part should be the easy part.
What languages do you speak?
French and English as standard, and more on request. Tell us the language you'd prefer to ski in, and we'll match you with the right instructor wherever we can.
Is the instructor with us for the whole week, or just a few hours?
For as much of the week as you'd like. White Dunes isn't built around two-hour lessons. We place an instructor or a member of our team with you across the trip, so the skiing and the days are guided by someone who's genuinely there. You're not booking slots, you have a person for the week.
Can we have lessons on their own, or only as part of a trip?
Either is fine. Most guests include lessons within a trip we handle entirely, though we're always glad to arrange them on their own. It all begins with a conversation.
